Agricultural Science and Technology
Philosophy of the program
Aim to produce graduates who are academic leaders, produce quality research, and create innovations in agricultural science and technology to be applied to develop plants, livestock, and microorganisms in line with the changing situations at the regional, national, and international levels effectively and sustainably, adhering to the principles of the sufficiency economy, having a sense of morality, ethics, and social responsibility.
The objectives of the program
- To produce graduates with high knowledge and ability in research and knowledge creation to be used in the development of plant, animal, and microorganism production to achieve quality and international standards and to produce graduates with moral and ethical awareness, interpersonal skills, knowledge and skills in information technology, and social and professional responsibility.
- To create knowledge in agricultural science and technology and apply knowledge to the development of the agricultural and industrial sectors at the local, regional, national, and international levels.
Career guidelines
1. Government officials, such as agricultural science and technology academics, agricultural academics in plants, academics from the Department of Livestock Development, agricultural extension academics, and science laboratory staff
2. Lecturers in government and private educational institutions
3. Private sector officials, such as animal feed factory academics and seed company laboratory academics, farm veterinarians, sales promotion and production officers, and science laboratory staff, etc.
4. Private business owners, such as chicken, pig, beef, dairy, and other economic animal farm operators, and agricultural business operators, etc.
5. Young Smart Farmers refer to new-generation farmers who have turned to agriculture by applying modern technology and innovation to increase production and management efficiency.
Study and research on topics related to the course content in the field of Agricultural Science and Technology under the supervision of an advisor who has knowledge and expertise in that topic. However, students must determine the topic to be studied and experimented on, prepare a project proposal to submit to the thesis advisor and committee for approval before proceeding. After the study and experiment, students must prepare a complete experimental report to submit to the committee and present the results of the study and experiment to the thesis examination committee.

Curriculum structure
- Plan A Type A 1 * 36 credits
– Thesis: 36 credits - Plan A Type A 2 36 credits
– Required subjects: 9 credits
– Elective subjects: 9 credits
– Thesis: 18 credits
*Note: Plan A Type A 1 program must register for Seminar 1 and Seminar 2 without counting credits.
1. Program Plan A Type A 1
A person who has completed a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science and Technology, Agricultural Technology, Science, Agriculture, or other related fields has research and publications in journals or academic publications according to the criteria of the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC) or is a person who has appropriate qualifications according to the discretion of the curriculum management committee.
2. Program Plan A Type A 2
A person who has completed a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science and technology, agricultural technology, science, agriculture, or other related fields.
