Philosophy of the Program

Produce academics/scientists/researchers with knowledge and skills in both chemistry and biology.

Graduates have knowledge and skills in both theory and practice in the fields of chemistry and biology to apply in actual work, including creativity in inventing innovations to meet the needs of society in the present era, including morality, ethics, professional ethics, responsibility for the community, and the ability to develop themselves to meet the needs of the southern region and the country.

Expected learning outcomes of the program

  1. Produce graduates with morality, ethics, and professional ethics who are responsible for the community and can work with others effectively.
  2. Produce graduates with sufficient knowledge in chemistry and biology who can continue their studies at a higher level and learn new sciences by themselves.
  3. To produce graduates with knowledge in chemistry and biology who can work to meet the needs of society and the country.
  4. Produce graduates who can integrate knowledge in the fields of chemistry and biology and can think analytically and solve problems creatively.

Teaching management of the curriculum

  1. Use English as supplementary instruction in teaching and learning for no less than 50 percent.
  2. Organize learning through lectures and active learning for no less than 50 percent of courses in the curriculum, such as using media, videos, classroom discussions, projects, and problem-based learning, emphasizing thinking processes and operations.
  3. Organize integrated learning with work (WIL) for 30 percent of courses in the curriculum.
