Philosophy and Objectives of the Curriculum
To produce academics, researchers, and practitioners with knowledge, research skills, academic excellence in fisheries science and technology, academic and professional ethics and morality, discipline, creativity, and the ability to effectively process and integrate knowledge gained in fisheries science and technology with other disciplines.
Highlights of the program
- The program integrates four related disciplines: fishery resource management, aquaculture, fishery products, and aquatic biotechnology, which are in line with the basic potential of the South.
- The program is a double degree program with universities abroad (double degree program) with Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, Malaysia, and Kanazawa University, Japan.
- There is research collaboration or consulting with the National University of Singapore, Singapore; Can Tho University, Vietnam; Ocean University of China, China; University of Hong Kong; and City University of Hong Kong, etc.
- There are research sites outside the university near the university.
Fisheries academics and researchers in both government and private agencies, entrepreneurs and businessmen in aquaculture, fisheries, fisheries resources, and marine environments; lecturers in both domestic and international educational institutions; and other related careers.
